All members must be 11th grade or older to participate. Most of our music will be Grade 4-5 and can be challenging for younger players.

Membership is also contingent on attending rehearsals. With only 3 main rehearsals, we ask for a commitment to attend all rehearsals.  If there is an extenuating circumstance and you will need to miss a rehearsal, please talk to me or email me.

Members are required to re-register each season.

No, it is completely free to be a member of MCPO.

The MCPO season starts May 18, 2025 and ends with our concert on June 22, 2025.

Rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons from 3pm – 5pm at Riverland Hills Baptist Church: 201 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063.

Anyone and everyone is invited to become a member – just make sure they meet the membership requirements.

Individual folders will be passed out at the first rehearsal. Parts will be assigned on a first come basis and managed by section leaders within each section. No folders will be available prior to the first rehearsal on Sunday, May 18th.

Our concert will be on June 22, 2025 at 4:00pm at Riverland Hills Baptist Church. It’s never too early to start inviting friends and family!

Members will be provided an MCPO polo shirt and will provide their own black slacks or skirt. Please no skirts that hit above the knee when seated and no shorts.
